"Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development."

Below are a few examples of how Reading Owls is delivering an outsized impact with your support.

Schoolfield Primary & Infant

I am reminiscing over the awesome journey for Schoolfield Primary & Infant and I am still teary-eyed. I will never forget the impact of seeing thirteen containers of items to support literacy at our school. I want you to know that your donations form the base of our pull-out sessions and is still reaping impact with students advancing their grade levels from the use of the reading resources. Continue to impact, shape lives and bring joy to these needy areas of Jamaica and the world at large.

For many years the students of Charlton Infant School were adversely affected by limited reading materials and the unavailability of an appropriate reading room. Today the school boasts a fully furnished room provided by Reading Owls International. The staff and students express heartfelt gratitude to the organization for providing easy to read, age appropriate books and resources, comfortable seating and an exquisite ambiance enjoyed by all!

Reading Owls International is definitely committed to increasing the literacy levels of Jamaican students and is a commendable organization.

“Reading Owls could not have come into our community at a better moment. The library team was excited and inspired by the organization's ideas for transforming our library from a storage area to an inviting space for the children to read and check out books. We now have books for everyone--from our strongest to our struggling readers. It's been a pleasure working with this non-profit, and we look forward to growing our relationship, as well as the next generation of healthy readers.”
